 Pagosa Brewing™ is Your Hometown Mountain Brewery®. Our philosophy and passion is to produce the best, freshest, and exceptionally smooth-drinking microbrews and homemade soda pops. All of our beers are hand-crafted in small batches to assure the highest quality. We use only choice ingredients: Water from our pristine mountain rivers, finest malted barley and malted wheat, fresh hops, and cultured yeast garnered from famous breweries throughout the world. Whether you like a crisp and light summer beer, a hoppy and balanced IPA, a full-bodied roasty stout, or something a bit historical, Pagosa Brewing has the beer for you.
Tony Simmons (right) is the President and Head Brewer of Pagosa Brewing™. Tony is an accomplished brewer and has worked with breweries in Colorado, New Mexico, and California. He won scholarships to professional brewing schools in both the USA and Germany. In addition, Tony is professional beer judge and was invited to judge at the prestigious Great American Beer Festival.
Tony has won a variety of awards including crafting the National Award Winning Poor Richard's Ale. The recipe included corn and molasses, which were very typical colonial ingredients. Tony's recipe has been re-brewed by 100 breweries in 35 states (including Anheuser-Busch!). Tony was flown to Philadelphia to brew the commemorative beer with Philadelphia's local Iron Hill Breweries. Poor Richard's Ale was served at a gala event for Benjamin Franklin's 300th birthday celebration, and enjoyed by senators, congressmen and the elite of Philadelphia society. The recipe has also been selected for 2006 National Homebrew Day, which will allow it to be brewed by some 3,000 homebrewing participants.

Positions Available:
Position Filled
Tasting Room Manager – Key position to run and organize tasting room and homebrew retail shop. Previous experience in managing and retail is required. Manager will hire and supervise serving staff.
Servers – Hourly part-time positions available. Fun, outgoing, responsible people are sought. Bar, brewing, and/or retail experience necessary.
Assistant Brewer – Opportunity of a lifetime! Professional or homebrewing experience a plus. Will train. Heavy lifting is required along with delivery responsibilities. Salary commensurate with experience.
